'Smell the new carpet' dreams

At the Prayer Night on 15th October, we were told that Emma Cooper had had a moment when she felt she could 'smell the new carpet' in the new building, and the church was asked to dream its dreams for the new building... The table below lists the points that were written up that night:

¨       A church known for the witness of the worshippers rather than for the building
¨       God’s Spirit changing communities
¨       A source of hope an light
¨       The Holy Spirit blowing through the corridors, the rooms, the corners and the forgotten places

¨       Church services where every age group worships together
¨       An outrageous, extravagant worship centre
¨       God’s light shining on us like never before
