Tom Giles – Senior Pastor

Tom has called Manchester home for most of his life. He’s passionate about sport, which served him well in his long and successful career as a PE and games teacher. Tom took early retirement in the late 1990s in order to enter full-time ministry at LifeChurch. He leads our pastoral care team, making sure that our church family members are supported, encouraged and cared for. Tom also oversees our children’s work as well as our work with older people. Tom is married to Pauline and their family includes three adult children and three grandchildren. They both share a love of sport, particularly tennis. Pauline helps Tom in his pastoral role, working alongside him to provide care, hospitality and support to the church family.
