Christians Against Poverty is a home-grown debt counselling charity which has been working for more than 15 years to reduce poverty in the UK caused by debt. It partners its financial expertise with the care of the local church to offer free debt help and a solution to people through a network of more than 190 centres. The fast-growing charity intends to have a debt-counselling CAP centre in 500 towns and cities across the UK by 2015. Our CAP Centre at LifeChurch has been providing free debt help to Sale, Stretford, Urmston and surrounding areas in South Manchester since May 2008. In that time the LifeChurch CAP team has helped more than 130 families with free debt help and family support. Out CAP Centre is part of the LifeChurch vision to be a church taht's transforming lives and communities.
