Sundays

 Sunday 1 Aug

nick

Nick Matthews will be continuing our series ‘Great Prayers of the Bible’ with a talk on ‘The Intercessors’ Prayer’.

We meet only once this Sunday, at 10.30am.

We have two services each Sunday morning at The King’s Centre in Sale, at 9.30 and 11.30. These run for about an hour and a quarter but we encourage folk to stay a little longer to meet newcomers and to spend time with our church family.

What can I expect if I go to a Sunday service?
We hope that the first thing that you would notice is that everyone you receive a warm welcome.
Our typical services include:

  • A welcome and introduction
  • An interview or item about a forthcoming event
  • Worship
  • A talk lasting about 25 minutes
  • Prayer

Refreshments are served after each service.

What’s available for new people?

We have people on the lookout for new faces, to welcome you and help you feel more at home. Feel free to let the people at the door know you’re new and they’ll help you settle in and provide information about the church. We also have:

  • Alpha courses, for those who want to learn more about the Christian faith.
  • Welcome groups (known as 'Gateway' groups) for new people, designed to help you get to know us better.

If you're interested in joining an Alpha course or a welcome group, speak to Nick Matthews or call him at the Church Office.

Is there stuff for children and youth?
During our 9.30am service, we have:
  • a crèche for babies and toddlers (also during the 11.30 service)
  • Shrimps for three and four year-olds
  • Fusion kids for ages 5-8
  • Fusion cell for ages 9-11
  • The Core for ages 11-14
  • Momentum for ages 15-16
Will I be expected to give money?
No. Guests are not expected to contribute to our offerings, though they are welcome to if they wish to!
