What we believe
God
We believe that there is only one true God; a loving God who created the world and us. We believe He loves us and His greatest desire is for us to know and love Him.
Jesus
We believe the only way to know God is through Jesus, God’s only son. Because we’re far from perfect, and never will be, God gave up His perfect son to take the punishment for all of our mistakes.
Jesus was born as a baby, He lived and died on the cross. In dying, He removed every barrier our mistakes had built up between us and God. It was the ultimate act of love and sacrifice. Three days after His death, Jesus was raised back to life and later rejoined His father in heaven, proving God’s amazing power over death. This victory means that we have the chance to enjoy God’s love now, in this life, and forever in heaven.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is at work in the lives of all Christians and that He empowers us to serve God. The Holy Spirit and His gifts area a vital part of our church life and how we live.
The Bible
We believe that the Bible is God’s message to us. It’s true, relevant and holds the keys to the best thing possible – knowing God better. It contains everything we need to know about what we believe and how to live.
