Directions to The Avenue (from student land)

Students fear not! There are several ways to get to where LifeChurch meet on a Sunday from student land. Just look at the options below and figure out which one is best for you, then come along and enjoy!!

By Bus:

You need to catch the Number 41 to Altrincham. This runs from Piccadilly Gardens all the way down Oxford Rd, through Fallowfield, Withington, Northenden before reaching Sale. You need to get off on Washway Road, the stop after the Peugeot Garage.

The 41 Finglands bus often finish in Sale town centre, without going down Washway road - so check with the driver! You can still get this bus, get off in Sale town centre and it's a 15-20 min walk to The Avenue Methodist Church.The 41 Stagecoach buses go all the way to church.

We've put the timetables for the buses you're most likely to catch below but if you're heading to church for any other reason at a different time, you can find the full 41 timetable on the Manchester travel website at  www.gmpte.com. 

By Tram

You can also catch the tram to Sale- how handy! 

You can get the tram from Piccadilly Gardens or St. Peter's Square and you need to catch a tram to Altincham and get off at Brooklands (one stop after Sale).

The tram are every 6 mins Mon-Fri and every 12 mins at weekends.

Once you get off the tram at Brooklands, it's about a 10 mins walk to The Avenue Methodist Church.
