Transforming lives and communities with the life and presence of Jesus Christ

God loves kids.  Here at LifeKids we believe that children have the potential to have a real relationship with Jesus, to be led by His Spirit and be culture shapers and world changers where they are.

In all of our kids’ events, we create a safe environment for kids to learn the truths of the Bible, encounter the Living God and learn how to follow and worship Him with their whole lives.

On Sunday mornings you can use our secure check in system to check your child into their group any time from 10:15am.  The check in desk can be found on the ground floor, so it’s easiest to check them in on your way to the main hall.  All our team are DBS-checked and trained in Child Protection.

The groups we run on a Sunday morning in Sale are as follows…

Little Sparks (0-2.5)

This group is for babies and toddlers aged from 0.  Children leave this group at the beginning of the term after they turn 2.5 (so they move up in September, January or April).  This room has great toys and activities, and we start to introduce them to stories of Jesus and singing about Him.

Rockets (2.5-4)

This group goes from the term after they turn 2.5, until they start in Reception at school.  The leaders use play based activities, crafts, storytelling and singing to encourage the children to engage with Jesus.

Comets (4-7)

This group is for children in school years Reception to year 2.  Its loads of fun, with freeplay, games, crafts, and time in small groups.

Fusion (7-11)

This group is for children in school years 3-6.  We start with freeplay and then move into time all together where we play games, get into the Bible, and get to know each other.  In Fusion we usually follow the same topics as in the adult service, which means you can go home and talk about it as a family.

Additional Needs (all groups)

If your child has additional needs, they are so welcome to join us in our LifeKids groups.  We are working hard at making all our groups accessible to all, and a place where children feel welcomed and at ease.  We believe that children with additional needs can know and love Jesus as much as anybody and strive to do all we can to help them to get to know Him.  If you would like to talk to us specifically about your child, we would love to find out how we can best help them to settle.

Heald Green

In our Heald Green service we have kids work for anyone aged between 0 and 11.  There’s a mixture of freeplay, games, stories and teaching, and all are welcome.

Sunday mornings are just one expression of how we do church and we have other opportunities for you and your children during the week.

LifeTots is our baby and toddler group.   There are two sessions on Fridays during term time, 10-11.30am and 1-2.30pm.  The groups are on a first-come, first-served basis.  They cost £3 for a family of up to 2 children (after this 50p per child) and this includes unlimited tea and coffee and a very excellent selection of snacks.

Kids LifeGroups

We run kids’ LifeGroups during the week for children aged 8 and over.  There are separate ones for boys and girls and it’s a chance to explore the bible on a deeper level. We’ve found these invaluable in forging strong friendships between children who otherwise may only see each other for an hour a week.  It’s also a chance for the kids to talk about any issues they may be facing or questions they have about faith and life.  For more information on how to join one, please get in touch with Sarah on

Kids Clubs

We run two midweek Kids’ Clubs. Their primary focus is to reach local children who may never set foot in a church.  They have similarities but are both adapted to meet the needs of the children in the community they are reaching.

Chain Reaction is our Kids’ Club in Stretford.  It meets on Tuesdays during term time, at 5-6pm.  We use the Salvation Army building on Brunswick Street.

Eccles Kids’ Club meets on Thursdays at 6-7pm in the Castle on Lewis Street.
